Concentration, also called memory, match, memory, pels, Shinkeisujaku, pexeso, or just pines, is a Japanese card game where all the cards are laid faced down on a flat surface and two cards are turned face up above each other. The objective of this game is to turn up pairs of matching cards from the deck. If a player finds a pair, it is possible for that player to win the game. This game is played with four or five players, with the remaining players taking turns.
The objective of the game is for the player's cards to form a pair, i.e. the player has to match cards with his or her cards, and then take the ace from the left of the other player, thus winning the game. The two decks are placed on top of each other and the player, whose left card matches with the one on top of his or her left card, takes the ace from the deck on top of his or her left card. The player can win by either getting all the pairs on the left or all the cards from the deck on the right of his or her card.
This is a good game for kids. If your children have problems with concentration, try this game as a way to teach them how to concentrate. The goal is for your child to get the most points and to be the one who wins. You might want to make it a group activity so that everyone can participate. Have each player write down the names of all the members of their team and have each member match the cards with the cards on the corresponding row. Have the player who gets the lowest score at the end of the game take a turn on top while the others play the game.
